During this visit, I had the pleasure of helping to lead an undergraduate student field trip to sites related to Gísla saga Súrssonar in Haukadalur and Geirþjófsfjörður. I thoroughly enjoyed the experience, although I don't think the students shared the same enthusiasm for the sagas felt by the field trip leaders. Here, some of the stragglers are walking in Haukadalir at Dýrafjörður.
