Ystiskáli is the outer-most farm on the short Skálavegur loop road. It lies below the Eyjafjöll mountains and the Eyjafjallajökull glacier, visible behind the farm bathed in sunlight.

One has to wonder how often new rocks roll down from above.

A confession: usually, I make pretty good notes about what I am photographing. In this case, I didn't note which of the Skáli farms I was photographing, so I may have made an error in identifying the farm. Corrections are welcome.
