Hurstwic Events

Hurstwic members provide demonstrations and presentations at museums, universities, schools, historical societies, and other cultural institutions.

Book signing by the author of Viking Weapons and Combat Techniques immediately following the Viking combat demonstration at Higgins Armory Museum, about 2:30PM. Books are available for purchase in the museum gift shop.

Other family-oriented Viking demonstrations, games, crafts, and workshops will be presented throughout the day. For more information, see the announcement on the Higgins website.

Normally, we present a live demonstration of Viking age combat techniques on the 3^rd (and where applicable, 5^th) Saturday of each month at 2PM at Higgins Armory Museum, part of the regular Weekend at Higgins program. Occasionally, scheduling changes prevent us from offering a demonstration, in which case we offer a presentation on Viking age weapons, instead.
